The soul sigil is one of the five sigils created by the faeries dwelling in Alefgard. Unlike the other sigils that embody forces of nature, the soul sigil embodies the indomitable human spirit in the face of hardship and is thus the most powerful by far.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake[edit]
The soul sigil is automatically created by the Craft-Master in the alchemy building of the Faerie Village once the Hero arrives after obtaining the magic key in Rimuldar. Having the sigil grants him access to incredibly powerful abilities known as souped-up skills, which can only be accessed under special circumstances.
Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line[edit]
The soul sigil is found on B1 of the Passage of Rendarak in all versions of the game same for those based on the 2014 Android/iOS port, in which it is given to the Scions of Erdrick by the King of Tantegel.
Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake[edit]
The soul sigil is in the possession of Mariella, one of the Children of Hargon and one of the cultist's chief lieutenants. It is kept on her lapel, and is obtained after defeating her in the Den of Inequity. The soul sigil
