Mt. Zugzwang is the final dungeon in Dragon Quest V. Located in Nadiria, it houses the mountain fortress of Grandmaster Nimzo. It is the site where Madalena is held captive, forced to pray for the gate to the human world to be opened wide enough for Nimzo.
Despite the presence of various recruitable monsters, no monster will be recruited within Mt. Zugzwang.
