A Seed of strength is a seed that increases the Strength of whoever eats it. It can be found in treasure chests, monsters can sometimes drop it, and looking in various item places (drawers, pots, bags) may help you find seeds of strength. They cannot be found at any store, and give the eater 1-3 strength.

Dragon Quest
Due to text restrictions in the Game Boy Color remake, the Seed of strength was renamed to STRseed in that version.
