Mt. Zugzwang (エビルマウンテン Evil Mountain) is the final dungeon in Dragon Quest V.

It is located in Nadiria and houses the mountain fortress of Grandmaster Nimzo. It is the site where Madalena is held captive, forced to pray for the gate to the human world to be opened wide enough for Nimzo.

Despite the presence of various recruitable monsters, no monster can be recruited within Mt. Zugzwang.
