The Costumes in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is a category of equipment who change appearance of the Party is they are equipped with the right items. The costumes are distinguished by a pink icon to better differentiate them from others equipments. The Definitive versions add option to choose any costumes regardless of the equipment worn when you've collected all the items once.

- Rab and Hendrik wear a Gadabout costume during a part of the second act but no items are associetad at this costume, making this one unique at this part of the game.
- Every costumes of Erik except the "The lupine look" and "The stone-cold killer" have a version without the hat.
