Blizzblaze Curse Field is a recurring spell first introduced in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai as a forbidden spell used by the Blizzblaze General Flazzard. It has the ability to reduce the strength of his enemies to one-fifth of their normal strength and seals away their magic.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai[edit]
Flazzard first demonstrates the spell against the heroes during the battle at Valge Island Tower. With the help of his core, he erects a Dark Lava Tower and a Dark Ice Tower and uses the two of them to create a field over the tower which severely weakens humans and prevents them from using their spells. Flazzard declares that it is the ultimate technique of the Blizzblaze Legion.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Blizzblaze Curse Field is known naturally by Flazzard at level 1 and costs 12 MP to cast. It has a range of four squares away from him in any direction, inflicts minor Crack-type spell damage to a single enemy, and has a chance to paralyze them.
