Shimmering Heat is a spell that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact that blinds a group of enemies with glaring heat.

Shimmering Heat can be learned by Platypunk the Sage at level 24 and Purrestidigitator at level 32, costing 28 MP to cast. It has a range of three squares in front of the caster, inflicts moderate Sizz-type spell damage to all enemies in a range of three squares horizontally, and rarely has a chance to envelop them in illusions.
