Chaotic Zam is a spell that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of the signature spells of Rhapthorne's True Form, being a high-powered version of Zam that makes an enemy more vulnerable.

Chaotic Zam is an enemy-only spell used by Rhapthorne's True Form when faced as a mega boss battle, costing 20 MP to cast. He can cast it at a single unit anywhere on the stage, inflicting moderate unreflectable Zam-type spell damage and having a chance to lower their spell, breath, and martial resistance.
