Darkness is a spell that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of the signature spells of Spooky Valencia, utterly extinguishing a single enemy with pitch-black shadows.

Darkness can be learned by Spooky Valencia through Talent Blossoming and costs 95 MP to cast. It has a range of four squares away from her in any direction and inflicts major Zam-type spell damage to a single enemy. Upgrading the spell increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to cast.
