Helpful Poisona is a spell that appears in Dragon Quest Tact modeled after the Poisona spell in the Final Fantasy series. It allows the caster to automatically cure a nearby ally of poison and envenomation a limited number of times per battle.

Helpful Poisona can only be cast after Chocobo learns the perk of the same name with 100 awakening points. This allows Chocobo to automatically cure an ally that becomes poisoned or envenomated by an enemy within a 1 to 3-space range within her up to four times per battle at no MP cost. The spell and perk's name was originally Helpful Poisoner, but was changed in an update in order to avoid confusion about its effects.
