Vanish is an ability in the Dragon Quest series. It renders the user less likely to be attacked.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III
Known as Fade in it's debut appearance, the spell makes the party invisible for 15 MP and lasts for 32 steps, making it very easy to sneak into certain castles.
Dragon Quest IX
This ability is learned with 32 skill points allocated into Ruggedness skill and costs 3 MP. When used in battle enemy accuracy will be reduce by 25% for 6~9 turns; On the field, it can be used to prevents other monsters from noticing the party.
