Demonlock Kafrizz is a spell that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of the Prince of darkness's signature spells, being a variant of Kafrizz that can seal away the spells of an opponent.

Demonlock Kafrizz can be learned by Prince of darkness at level 42 and costs 100 MP to cast. It has a range of three squares away from him in any direction, inflicts major Frizz-type spell damage to a single enemy, and has a high chance of locking away their spells for three turns. Upgrading the spell increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to cast. The prince of darkness can also learn the perk Demonlock Kafrizz Follow-Up with 30 awakening points, which automatically casts Demonlock Kafrizz at an enemy that is being attacked by an ally if they are within a 3-space range up to three times per battle.
