Partyboost is a spell in Dragon Quest Tact. It boosts the Attack power of a single ally for a short time.
Localisation history[edit]
Partyboost is a completely new translation in the English version of Tact for the spell Baishion, which first appeared in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. In this game, Partyboost is a single-target spell that increases the Attack of a single ally by one stage. The name Oomph would be used once again for the original spell Baikiruto.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Partyboost can be learned by Warhog at level 18, and Mandrake marauder, Snooty slime knight, Wharfhorse at level 22, costing 16 MP to cast. It has a range of 1-2 squares away from the caster, can be self-cast, and raises the ATK of a single ally for three turns.
The Dragonlord's True Form and Alena also possess the awakening perk Instant Partyboost, which gives them a self-cast Partyboost at the start of battle for no MP cost which lasts three turns.
