Kacrack is a spell in the Dragon Quest series. It pierces all enemies with ice damage. Kacrack was removed from the series' spell pool in Dragon Quest V, due to Kacrackle's target range being increased to effect all enemies. The spell would not return until Dragon Quest IX.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III
Learned by Mages & Sages at Level 32 in the original release due to a glitch. It costs 9 MP and hits all enemies for 60~80 points of damage. In the Super Famicom remake and its Game Boy Color port the glitch has been corrected and the spell is learned at Level 26.
Dragon Quest IV
Kacrack is learned by Borya at Level 27 and deals 60~80 damage for 8 MP.
Dragon Quest IX
Learned by Mage Level 40. Lacerates all enemies with a raw volley of rasping ice for 24 MP. Base damage is 80~104 until the caster's magical might overcomes 200, and the cap is 204~227 at 999.
Dragon Quest X
Kacrack is learned by Magi at level 51 for 21MP, with damage being calculated as Magical Might x 0.2844 + 34 with an maximum range of 230~242.

Rips into all enemies with a hail of razor-sharp icicles for 12 MP. Kacrack is learned from the Bang & Crack II, Bang & Crack III, Crack & Zam II, Crack & Zam III, Crack & Zap II, Crack & Zap III, Dhoulmagus, Diamagon II, Diamagon III, Estark, Ice II, Ice III, Rhapthorne, Uber Blessed Blizzardier, Woosh & Crack II, Woosh & Crack III skillsets.
