Ruined Abbey is a town in Dragon Quest VIII. It is a longer, alternative way to the Abbot's quarters.

Story

Not much is known about the history of the former Abbey other than it being abandoned due to an unspecified disease which claimed the lives of those who lived there.[1]

Years later, Angelo points The Hero, Yangus and Jessica to the former Abbey in order to sneak into Abbot Francisco's quarters to prevent him from being harmed by Dhoulmagus.
