The Costumes in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is a category of equipment who change appearance of the Party is they are equipped with the right items. The costumes are distinguished by a pink icon to better differentiate them from others equipments. The Definitive versions add option to choose any costumes regardless of the equipment worn when you've collected all the items once.
