Costumes in Dragon Quest XI

The Costumes in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is a category of equipment who change appearance of the Party if they are equipped with the right items. The costumes are distinguished by a pink icon to better differentiate them from others equipments.

The Definitive edition add new more costumes, option to choose any costumes regardless of the equipment worn when you've collected all the items once and some equipments who had the same model in the original version have now different colors.

• Rab and Hendrik wear a Gadabout costume during part of the second act. However, no items are associated with this costume, making this costume unique to that part of the game.
• Each of Erik's costumes except for "The lupine look" and "The stone-cold killer" have a version without the hat.
• Serena can equip the Ring of Changes, giving her the short hair she has during the second act.
