Strom is a temporary playable character inDragon Quest IV. Taloon finds him in the inn in Chapter 3, looking for work. In exchange for advance payment, he is willing to join Taloon for a few days at a time. He lends his considerable physical strength and bulk to Taloon's quest for treasure. After Chapter 3, he is never seen again.
In the North American DS version, he is known as Hardie.
