The High djinks can join the party in the original version of Dragon Quest VI. It is far and away the most difficult monster to recruit, requiring the player to reach rank 8 of the Monster Master to even have a chance. If the player is lucky enough to have a friend like him, they'll find all their wishes granted--and then some.

Names: Kadaboo, Daburin, Futamin, Kikumoto

Majin maneuvers

The High djinks will always act twice when controlled by A.I. and, thanks to a higher wisdom stat, will be able to make better judgement calls per turn and adapt to the flow of battle. As with the Overkilling machine, mastering the Paladin vocation will give monster a 25% chance to instantly slay an enemy when using melee attacks.

Trivia

The High djinks is the only type of monster that cannot be recruited multiple times.
