Gemon is a character first introduced in Dragon Quest VIII. His appearance is similar to a dark gryphon, but he is much, much larger, and has three straight horns protruding from his head.

Gemon is Rhapthorne's right hand man and a boss in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. Gemon threatened to murder Empyrea's unborn child if she did not co-operate with him.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2
Gemon is the first boss of the Cragvaration area. It can be found in a large nest (not its own) filled with giant eggs. Post-game, Gemon is replaced by Empyrea, who can be found in the same spot. This is obviously a reference to Dragon Quest VIII, considering the relationship between the two monsters.
Gemon is a Rank A monster and can be synthesized by mixing a jamirus with a belial.
