Hork (Recruit)

Hork (スミス, Sumisu) is an infamous monster available in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

It can form the team The Zombebops if all three monsters on the team are members of the Undead family.

Location

The Old-School Drooler (地獄のベテラン選手, Jigoku no beteran senshu) can be found in the poisonous swamps outside of the Swordsman's Labyrinth at any time.

Etymology

Hork takes its name from the old localization of the Walking corpse enemy. In the original Japanese version of the game, Hork's name is Smith, which has been used as the name of a recruitable Walking corpse companion in several games.
