Tricksy (うらぎりこぞう - originally Tricksy urchin) is a boss that had only appeared in Dragon Quest IV. There are only two of them in the game at Con Cave.
When the lone Hero fell into a pit after battling 2 Frolickers, he encounters them chasing who appeared to be Maya and Meena. It turned out that they were really Vampire bats in disguise. Together all four of them attempt to defeat The Hero, only to fail.
