Story[edit]

Eustace confronting the fake "Nava" at the entrance to the Tunnel.

After traversing through the Dungeon of Descent, the party meets up with Eustace, Nava, Zev, and Fingers at the locked door that leads to the Abbey. Nava asks the Hero to hand her the key that High Priestess Jacqueline gave to them. Eustace, who has been suspicious of Nava for a while now, decides to confront her as to why she would need it. Unbeknownst to the group, a monster disguised itself as Nava and intended to keep anyone from reaching the Abbey again. The monster sheds its disguise and reveals that Nava is still alive, but it has eaten the old Head Priest. It provokes Zev into using the Soulstealer on Eustace, preying on his feelings of anger and resentment, and attacks the party.

The monster is swiftly defeated, but Zev and Eustace are engaged in a swordfight. Although Zev manages to strike the guard's sword out of his hands, Eustace gets the upper hand and disarms Zev, taking the evil sword away from him.

The party having their spells and abilities restored.

He then takes the Soulstealer and throws it at Zev's back, hoping that it'll return his soul to him. Eustace's plan works and Zev stands up and is back to his normal self again, telling the others that the Soulstealer clouded his mind, filling him with hatred and anger. The two young men then resolve to find Nava with Fingers in tow, going ahead of the Hero after using the key to open the locked door.

The trio eventually find a chamber with a pedestal and a glowing orb in the ceiling. After standing underneath it, the party regains their spells and abilities again. They then hear the voice of High Priestess Jacqueline, guiding them on the path towards the Abbey. With their powers restored, the party journeys through the rest of the dungeon and finds themselves at the Allblades Arena.
