The Precipice Pass (formerly Mt. Hut Village) is a village in the Alltrades Abbey region in Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.
It is reached by taking the Western Cave left of Pilgrim's Perdition. The Dungeon of Descent is accessible north of the church.
Story[edit]
The village is where the priests of Alltrades Abbey were taken after Cardinal Sin and the {{MFamilies}s took over. It is also where people are taken if they manage to steal five souls using the Soulsword in Pilgrim's Perdition. After the Hero and party ventures here with the help of Eustace and Fingers, the monsters are driven out and the village is made the base of operations for rescuing High Priestess Jacqueline. Eventually the party is able to rescue her from the Dungeon of Descent and they all return here. Jacqueline gives the party the Alltrades Key necessary for breaking into the Abbey and overthrowing the monsters.
After Cardinal Sin and the monsters are defeated, the priests return to the abbey, but some of the people decide to stay behind and live in the village. The village only exists in the past.
