Aubout du Monde

Kievs is a town in Dragon Quest IV. Mara and Nara were born there, as was their father, the famous alchemist who discovered the Secret of Evolution. Mara and Nara's house is there, and their father's secret alchemy laboratory is in its hidden basement.
Localism is apparently very strong in Kievs, as the inn will refuse to let the party pay for their lodgings if Mara and Nara are with it.
Balzack, if not a native of Kievs, at least lived there for a time while studying under the twins' father. The same can be said of Orin.
