Safe Passage is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series. It prevents damage from traveling through harmful terrain, and in all appearances lasts for 128 steps with a cost of 2 MP.
Appearances
Dragon Quest II
The Prince of Cannock and Princess of Moonbrook learn the spell at level 17 and 21, respectively.
Dragon Quest III
Magi and Sages will learn the spell at level 21.
Dragon Quest IV
Safe Passage is learned by Maya at level 21, and is already known by Psaro upon joining.

Dragon Quest VI
This spell is learned by advancing to rank 3 of the Ranger vocation.
Dragon Quest VII
Safe passage is learned by reaching rank 4 of the Pirate vocation in the original PSX version, and rank 2 of the Thief in the 3DS remake.
Dragon Quest IX
Safe Passage is learned by mages at level 13 and rangers at level 3. It costs 2 MP to cast.
