Going to speak with Ms. Bloome, the hero learns that Marion's parents died some time ago and that she has been very generous ever since. However, while talking to Marion, she becomes very irate and throws the hero out.

Bloomingdale is a port town in Dragon Quest IX.

It is located to the southwest of Dourbridge. It is the location where the Hero acquires a ship.

Hint for solution The blood mummies must be fought at the Bowhole, a dungeon located in Western Wormwood. Defeating them will eventually drop the dagger.
