After he refuses, they conjure up a scene of his fellow Supreme Sage and brother [[Benjamin]] being executed by a guillotine, stating that only his full cooperation will save his blood kin. Once the [[Hero (Dragon Quest VI)|Hero]] and his party witness Isaac's suffering, they return to [[Gallows Moor]] to escort Benjamin to his chained brother in the [[Prison of Sorrow]]. Benjamin is able to transport himself and the party inside Isaac's conscience, convincing him that Cabot and Belleau's illusions are fake just before his resolve falters. The duo then engage the party in combat, and upon being defeated Isaac's mind is finally put to rest.
