The scytheborg (メガボーグ Megabōgu) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation.
Characteristics[edit]
Scytheborgs are hulking, great, green goons that are more machine than monster. Standing strikingly tall, these ogres are augmented with menacing machine modules made for maiming lost adventurers, including a bladed arm built for slicing and swiping. They wear a purple grotty waistcoat that barely covers their hulking horrific physique. Their robotic brains are malfunctioning to the point when using their strongest scythe attack they go into a furious frenzy, attacking friend and foe alike for devastating damage.
