Olivia is a non-player character in Dragon Quest III. She threw herself off a cliff to her death near the Shrine of Olivia when she learned that her lover Eric would never return from his oceanic voyage.
Olivia's Curse
The spirit of Olivia keeps ships from passing the Shrine of Olivia and entering the Shrine Jail. The curse can only be lifted by using the Locket of Love (LuvMemory) after being held back by the curse. The curse will be lifted allowing entrance to the Shrine Jail.
