Greenlad is a land mass in the overworld of Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.
It is located north of Persistence, and geographically corresponds to the country of Greenland.
The only building on the entire landmass is a little house called the Hermitage[1].
Appearances
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation
This isolated strip of permafrost is home to an old man who was given the Boatman's Bone by residents from the Pirates' Den a long while before the events of the game. Eventually, his island is visited by the Hero, to whom he informs an interest in the Mod Rod. The Hero exchanges the Staff and receives the bone in turn, with the hermit having a different appearance and slightly altered dialogue with each subsequent visit.
