Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Frizzle appears as the Hero's neutral special move in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is a more powerful version of the Frizz spell that is launched after a brief charge period, and can be charged up further to turn into Kafrizz. Frizzle costs 16 MP, and sends out two intertwining fireballs that deal 9% damage each. Each volley counts as a separate projectile, meaning opponents and block one and be hit with the other under the right circumstances. This is a reference to the spell's original depiction in Dragon Quest V, VI, and the 16-bit remake of III wherein it was animated as two shots of Frizz fired at the same enemy.
Enemy versions
The enemy version of the spell dealt 52~62 damage, and remained that way until VIII, where it inflicted 42~49 damage. In IX, frizzle deals 52~71 damage.
