Nordy the Dwarf (Norud the Hobbit) is a non-player character in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.

He lives in a tunnel connecting the eastern and western portions of the largest continent in the overworld of Dragon Quest III.

Nordy is friends with the King Portogus Rex of Portoga. He allows the Hero and his party to cross his tunnel only after viewing the Royal Missive from the King. Otherwise, he denies them passage.
