The Brigand is a boss in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.
It is one of four monsters that the player encounters in the Alltrades Abbey region.

Strategy
The beefy armoured Brigand uses powerful physical attacks which, depending on the classes that the player chose at Alltrades Abbey, can be a minor annoyance or a big concern. Casting Buff helps considerably and like the other three bosses, he is vulnerable to Sleep. He is the least threatening of the four and should be defeated last.
