The Nail Mark is a cave in Alefgard in Dragon Quest III. It is the precursor to Erdrick's Cave in the first game, and is the location of the Hero's Shield.

It is said that the cave is the point where Zoma entered Alefgard. Like the Pyramid's basement floors, magic is sealed here too.
