Kasap (also known as Defense) is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest Series. Unlike Sap, it targets a group of enemies.

Dragon Quest II
The Princess of Moonbrooke learns Defense at Level 10.
Dragon Quest III
Defense is learned at 18 by both a Priest and Sage.
Dragon Quest IV
Kasap is learned by Borya at level 21, and is already known by Psaro upon joining. Orifiela also knows the spell.
