Searing Sunder is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is the Coup de Grâce of Kiefer, delivering a series of slashes with his flame-infused sword.
Details
Searing Sunder can be learned by Kiefer at level 74 and costs 52 MP to use. It inflicts 90% potency Frizz-type physical damage to a single enemy 3 times and has a chance to lower their DEF for 3 turns. Since it is a Coup de Grâce, it takes 3 turns to charge and can only be used once per battle. Upgrading the ability increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
