Egg On is a skill in Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies that increases the tension of a target party member by one level. Taught to the Hero by Patty from Stornway after you unlock the Quester's Rest as way of thanks for helping her out in The Hexagon earlier.
Some enemies (such as Sluggers) can also use this to bolster their allies.
