Forge Ahead! is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of Young Terry's signature abilities, giving a rallying cry to himself or one of his companions that gives them a boost to their movement.

Forge Ahead! is known naturally by Young Terry at level 1 and costs 30 MP to use. It has a range of up to two squares away from him, can be used on himself, and raises an ally's Move for three turns.

Etymology[edit]
The dondon in Forge Ahead!'s Japanese name Dondon susume' (ドンドンすすめ) is an onomatopoeia for the sound of a drum beating and can also mean "to go quickly" or "one after another".
