Dancing Dragons is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It is one of Maya's signature abilities, summoning a pair of dragon-shaped streams of intense fire from her fans to charge at her foes and cook them alive.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road[edit]
Dancing Dragons makes its debut in the second game as Maya's special finisher when the Puff! card is scanned. She leaps to the top of a mountain and dances to channel fire energy to her Solar Fans before releasing them as fiery dragons.
Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below and Dragon Quest Heroes II[edit]
Appearing as a separate skill, it is learned by Maya after investing 6 skill points into her skill tree. It costs 12 MP to use, and is useful for clearing out crowds of enemies.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Dancing Dragons is a spell that can be learned by Maya at level 54 and costs 124 MP to use. It inflicts major Frizz-type spell damage to all enemies in a 3x3 square in front of her and sometimes lowers their Frizz-type resistance too. Upgrading the ability increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
