Hot Needle is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of the Death scorpion's signature abilities, repeatedly skewering an enemy with fiery stings from its tail.

Hot Needle can be learned by Death scorpion at level 44 and costs 36 MP to use. It has a range of up to three spaces away from it, inflicts 65% potency Frizz-type physical damage three times to a single enemy, and has a chance to lower their DEF for three turns.
