Muscle Flex is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series associated with Robbin' 'Ood and other burly blokes. The user poses to show off their big muscles, with its exact effects differing between each game.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]

Muscle Flex makes its first appearance as an enemy-only skill that can be used by Hoods. When used, it attempts to lower the entire party's Tension by one stage.

Dragon Quest X[edit]

Muscle Flex is an enemy-only skill that can be used by Heavy hoods and Robbin' 'Ood. It increases the Attack and Defence of the user and all allies by one stage, as well as gradually recovering the user's HP and MP.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]

Muscle Flex is an enemy-only skill used once again by Heavy hoods and their vicious counterparts. When used, it increases their Attack and Defence by one stage and grants them HP regeneration at no MP cost.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End[edit]

Muscle Flex can be used by Hoods, Hoodlums, Heavy hoods, and Robbin' 'Ood. It temporarily increases their Attack and Defence.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]

Muscle Flex is an enemy-only skill that can be used by Robbin' 'Ood in various levels and boss battles. When used, it increases his ATK and DEF by one stage for three turns.
