Eerie Light is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing as one of Estark's signature skills in IV. Its use has varied throughout the series.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit]

First appearing in this game, it is used by Estark when he is asleep, damaging all enemies.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit]

Reappearing after a five game hiatus, it lowers the enemy party's resistance to status effects for 6 to 9 turns and is used by Freaky tikis, Tyrantula, and Orgodemir after he reaches level 57.

Dragon Quest X[edit]

Eerie Light is used by Hellbound horrors, Hellbound hunters, and Succubats to put one enemy to sleep, similar to Lullab-Eye.
