Porthtrunnel is a town in Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen, located to the south of Bath.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit]
A major port town, it is center of the world's shipbuilding industry. However, at the beginning of Chapter 5, all these efforts have been stalled as the nearby Pharos Beacon has been giving off false signals due to its monster infestation and its light being replaced with a dark one. Fortunately, the party of the Hero, Meena, Maya and Hank Hoffman Jr. arrive before the situation grows truly dire and lives are lost. The Chosen Ones enter the beacon and are asked by Torneko Taloon to handle the situation, his bodyguards abandoning him before he is able to restore the lighthouse himself. Once the monsters at the summit have been taken care of and the original flame is restored, Torneko joins the group and the party exists Porthtrunnel via his ship.
