Waterspout is an ability exclusive to the Monsters series of spin-offs. It squirts a single enemy with a powerful jet of water when used.
Appearances
Dragon Quest Monsters 2
Waterspout costs 5 MP and deals 35~45 damage to one enemy. It is naturally learned by the Bubblemon, PutreFish, RogueWave, and WhaleMage monsters, provided they are at level 13 with a max HP of 74, an attack of 60, and an agility of 80.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
Waterspout costs 5 MP to use and has a damage range of 40~50, using the ice element. It is learned with 18 points in the Diamagon skill.

Waterspout can still be learned from Diamagon. It can now also be learned from:
- Aquapothecary (10 points)
- Khalamari (5 points)
