Tongue Bashing is an ability which reduces enemies defense. It is considered a stronger version of Tongue Lashing as it is capable of incapacitating a character or enemy for a single turn while also sharply decreasing their defence.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation
Tongue Bashing is learned by advancing to either rank 4 of the Monster Master vocation or rank 6 of the Gadabout vocation.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
Tongue Bashing is learned by advancing to either rank 7 as a Jester or rank 4 as a Lips. It can also be used by various monsters such as Tongue fu master and Pustule.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Tongue Bashing is an enemy-only skill that can be used by Kissers.
Dragon Quest Monsters
SickLick will stop the action of one foe and reduces their defence to 1 for a turn for 4 MP. It will be learned naturally by any monster that could learn LushLicks at level 13 as long as they have 81 max HP and 94 AGL, which includes Anteater, FairyDrak, GiantSlug, Hork, Lipsy, Poisongon, Spooky, SpotSlime and Tonguella.
