Underworld Slash is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It is a powerful sword technique that infuses the wielder's sword with Nadirian lightning.

Underworld Slash appears as a special move that is activated by combining the Sword of ruin's Destructive Strike with two lightning skills. It deals a combination of lightning and darkness damage and can land a curse on the target.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light
Underworld Slash can be learned by Psaro and Ersatz Estark. It costs 48 MP to use and deals Zam-type slashing damage on all enemies.
Dragon Quest Tact
Underworld Slash can be learned by Estark at level 36 and costs 58 MP to use. It inflicts 280% potency Zam-type physical damage to all enemies in a range of five squares horizontally in front of him. Upgrading the ability increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
