Sword Stance is a defensive skill in Dragon Quest XI that raises the parry rate for the user.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]
The Luminary will learn sword stance through the one-handed sword section of his character builder, and it costs 2 MP to perform. Once active, his base parry chance increases to 33% and lasts for four turns.
