Aooo! is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest VII. It is Ruff's own version of the War Cry skill, calling upon a group of wolves to frighten a group of enemies with their howls.

Aooo! is learned by Ruff when he reaches level 2. Its range is slightly weaker than War Cry as it only has a chance to stun a group of enemies for a single turn. It can be helpful when Ruff first joins the party as he still needs to gain levels for his attacks to get up to speed with the rest of the party.
- Although Aooo!'s success rate decreased in the Nintendo 3DS remake, a plus side is that the skill will prevent enemies that act twice per turn from taking both of their actions if the effect occurs.
