Dark Awakening is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of Ashtaroth's signature abilities, granting him a surge of magic power and temporarily strengthening his spells.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Dark Awakening is known naturally by Ashtaroth at level 1 and costs no MP to use. When used, it restores a moderate amount of his MP and increases his spell potency and recovery by 50% for a single turn. Although it can only be used up to three times per battle. Upgrading the skill increases the amount of MP restored.
